Developing a mobile GIS application related to the collection of land data in soil mapping studies

Soil is the one of most important natural resources having direct and indirect effects on human life, foremost food supply. Moreover, two sources used in many sectors such as agriculture, forestry, environment, planning, related to conservation soil, are soil maps reports. There a need for proper up-to-date produced with support technology achieve sustainable management land successfully. In order facilitate collection data site correct, fast reliable way survey mapping studies, therefore produce high accuracy, mobile GIS application called “Soil Data System” was developed this study work devices which driven by Android 5.0 above. The tested “Abadan Erosion Control Project” implementation area, located boundaries Ankara, Turkey completed 2016 within General Directorate Forestry Republic Turkey, various findings were obtained after comparing classical studies. As result analyzes, it observed that System contributed positively process aspects transparency time.
